Hello! Welcome to my webpage! I am beginning my 6th year teaching and my 4th year at Marvin Wright Elementary. I began my teaching career in Bowling Green, Ky in 3rd grade. I taught 4th grade for the past three years at Wright, now I am excited to be teaching my first year of Kindergarten. I received my Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education from Western Kentucky Univerity and my Master's Degree in Elementary Reading and Math from Walden University. When not teaching I love spending time with my husband, Corey and our two dogs Lexy and Baxter. I also enjoy attending/watching on tv sporting events, teaching cheerleading, browsing the internet, and traveling. My favorite college basketball team is WKU and UK and favorite football team is the Indianapolis Colts!!! Sorry all you UT and Titans fans! I look forward to teaching your children this year. My goal is create life long learners that enjoy challenging themselves to become critical thinkers! |
